INFORMATION ABOUT THE FRUIT SHARE
Briermere Farms, located in nearby Riverhead NY, provides fresh local fruit for our fruit share. The farm is not certified organic, however they certainly aim for as little conventional spray as possible given the wet climate of NY. Many organic practices are integrated into the growing program and they produce their own compost as well.
It is an 18 week share beginning July 3rd/4th and ending October 30th/31st. There is the possibility that the share will begin sooner, depending on the weather and the timing of the ripening of the fruit. We will contact you if there is any change of starting date.
$150 for 18 weeks ($8.33/week)
