Sang Lee Farms is a certified organic farm on the North Fork of Long Island. We specialize in Asian Specialty produce, Value-added products made in our certified organic kitchen, and much more.

We sell our products online, in our retail shoppe, at farmer's markets, and through our CSA Farmshare Program.

2018 Kitchen Share

INFORMATION ABOUT THE KITCHEN SHARE

The farm kitchen share includes items that are made on our farm in our own Certified Organic Kitchen. We make all our products with organic ingredients when available, and each item is labeled "organic" or "made with organic ingredients" depending on the percentage of ingredients that are organic. If we cannot source most of the ingredients organically, the product will not have the word organic on it (Ginger Scallion Dip).  

It is an 24 week share (the full length of the CSA season) beginning June 5th/6th and ending November 13th/14th.  However, You will only receive your items every other week (12 weeks of the season). 

COST

$420 for 24 weeks (deliveries will be every other week so 12 weeks total) so $35/ delivery week (normally $42/week retail) . You are saving $84 per season for these items compared with retail price. 

WHAT IS IN THE KITCHEN SHARE?

QUANTITY

Every other week you will receive 1 Dip, 1 Dressing, 1 Fermented or Pickled Veggie Jar, and 1 Pesto. We planned this so that you have sufficient time to use up the items that are more perishable and so that you get a nice variety of flavors. These items are meant to be accompaniments to your veggie share and we will suggest ways to use them in your CSA newsletter every other week. 


DRESSINGS or SAUCES

8 oz Dressings can also be used as Marinades. We also include some sauces depending on what is in your CSA share. 

MAY INCLUDE: Citrus Dressing, Asian Vinaigrette, Sweet Ginger Dressing, Toasted Sesame Dressing, Stir-fry Sauce, Mild Hot Sauce. 

DIPS

7 oz Dips are great as a way to enjoy your raw crudite veggies each week in the CSA. We will give you different flavors to try throughout the season.  

MAY INCLUDE: Ginger Scallion Dip , Hummus, Turmeric Hummus, Creamy Herb Spread, Spicy Garlic Dip & More. 

PESTOS

7 oz Pestos are made with our own greens and herbs and are delicious as a marinade for roasted, grilled, or sauteed veggies. They also go great on pasta, fish, or as a dip.  We will give you different flavors to try throughout the season based on what is fresh and seasonal. 

MAY INCLUDE: Basil Pesto, Spinach Walnut Pesto, Cilantro Pesto, Parsley Pesto, Garlic Scape Pesto & more. 

PICKLED OR FERMENTED

16 oz Jars of Pickles or Fermented Veggies are meant to be a delicious topping to your meals or a palette cleanser. Fermented veggies are specifically helpful in digestion as they have probiotics in them. A great way to use fermented veggies is on your eggs, or as a side to any meal. 

MAY INCLUDE: Fermented Kimchi, Fermented Turmeric Kimchi, Fermented Garlicky Kraut, Fermented Bok Choy, Pickled Beets, Pickled Cucumbers, Pickled Garlic, Pickled Garlic Scapes, Pickled Asparagus.
