Farm to Table Cookshops
Enjoy the ambiance of a gentle summer breeze and radiant sunset on the farm while you pick berries, pluck tomatoes, crunch asparagus and smell herbs alongside Farmer Lu.
Karen Lee, Sang Lee’s loving owner will share fun veggie facts and farm stories before you head back to the kitchen for a cooking demo featuring prep techniques and a delicious tasting with Stefanie Sacks, our in house Culinary Nutritionist.
Then get creative in small groups, with Karen and Stefanie by your side, as you prepare farm to plate recipes using the bounty from the farm.
The Cookshop will end with a shared meal with plenty of take-home leftovers for the next day. Make new friends, try new foods and get inspired on our farm.

STEFANIE SACKS, MS, CNS, CDN
Culinary Nutritionist | Author of What The Fork Are You Eating and Founder of REBOOT FOOD™ Speaker & Consultant
For over two decades, Sacks has helped transform the way people eat by using hands on culinary experiences to inspire, educate and offer practical tools for food lifestyle change. She has her Masters of Science in Nutrition from Teachers College, Columbia University, is a Certified Nutrition Specialist, Certified Dietitian Nutritionist and is a graduate of the Natural Gourmet Institute for Health and Culinary Arts.
KAREN LEE, FARM OWNER
Karen met Fred while studying for her MBA at BU for Nurse management. She quickly adapted her business and management skills to the farm and was the driving force behind the farm's conversion from wholesale to retail with the start of the farmstand. In order to satisfy her customer's hunger for more than just vegetables, Karen started the farm kitchen which became certified organic in 2013. Karen now oversees the farmstand and kitchen operations and staff, while providing customers with tips and tricks about how to nourish themselves with our fabulous vegetables & prepared products.
LUCY SENESAC, FARM EDUCATOR
Lucy has been at Sang Lee Farms for the last 8 years. She came to the farm from WWOOFing in New Zealand after graduating with a degree in psychology and art. She has worked in most areas ranging from tractor work, farmer's markets to managing the farm camp and CSA program. She got her degree in nutrition from Institute for Integrative Nutrition and is also a certified health coach. She has become an integral part of the farm education through school tours and work with local school gardens.
