Cancellations of any kind are subject to 20% non-refundable charge. If you cancel within 1 week of the workshop, you can use your credit for another class, but otherwise you will be charged in full. If workshops have less than 5 people, we will email you to reschedule or refund you.

Join maker Trish Wescott in tapping into the magic of Goldenrod and other seasonal botanicals! This workshop will be visually appealing and informative for those who are beginning, or looking to deepen their plant dye craft, all amidst our farm fields.
Gathered is a guided foraging and natural dye workshop centered mainly around a single plant: Goldenrod. Rather than sampling several dye botanicals in one sitting, this session creates space to slow down with one — allowing participants to actually get to know it, from field to fabric. Goldenrod is at peak bloom this time of year, holds deep folk roots around good fortune and encouragement, and produces one of the most reliable, beautiful yellows in natural dyeing. It's a plant that rewards attention rather than a quick pass.
We’ll explore the farm fields in search of Goldenrod and other seasonal botanicals that the land offers. These foraged finds will be the supporting materials used to make a single color dye bath. In addition, we will cover the folklore and meaning behind Goldenrod, and take a quiet moment for each participant to set a personal intention for the season ahead.
Participants will learn how to dye using seasonal botanicals that they can find in their own backyard or neighborhood. Each participant will leave with a naturally dyed piece and a printed keepsake card carrying the goldenrod story, with space to write down their own intention.
