BAKER / CHEF IN FARM KITCHEN

Part Time / 15-20 hours a week - Fridays & Saturdays required (possible Sundays)

Join our family farm and be part of a baking team committed to excellence in organic baked treats that we sell onsite at our farmstand and at our farmers markets.

We are looking for a head baker who has experience baking at home, but preferably some experience in a kitchen.

Must be able to work quickly, efficiently and able to juggle many things at one time.

You will be working in a small-ish kitchen with a few other people.

Other duties/skills include:

  • Bake scones , tartletts and pies. Have knowledge in baking muffins / soda breads.

  • Package and labeling - attention to detail

  • Ability to time things and juggle baking several different items every day

  • Lead and work with a team of 2 others in kitchen

  • Clean and organized with workspace

  • Options to expand product line over time to include other items that you are interested in exploring (no space for sourdough breads though!)

  • Track inventory of ingredients / packaging and work
