Get local fruit grown on Long Island as a one stop shop when you pickup your CSA share. Savings of 20% off retail value of fruit.
$180 for 18 weeks of 3lbs stonefruit from Local Briermere Farms. Equivalent of $10 / week.
In an effort to help feed those in our local (North Fork) and semi Local (Long Island / Brooklyn) communities who are less food secure, we are matching any donations made here before March 1st , and will donate the value in veggie shares. We will choose the communities in need, but if you or someone you know is struggling, please send us a note and we will see what we can do to include them in this subsidized program.
We also wanted to let you know that every week your share is not picked up, it is donated to CAST locally on the North Fork, or to another food bank / pantry near to the other dropsites. We have coordinated with them so that your left CSA shares never go to waste!
