Local Herbalist, Kayla Barthelme is offering a Community Supported Apothecary box to connect you with the healing plants that grow in our area. For this 6-month CSA style share, members will receive 1 monthly apothecary box filled with seasonal, handcrafted herbal goodies. The plants used in these herbal products are grown on local North Fork farms or wildcrafted from nature. Each apothecary box will feature 3 herbal products such as freshly dried tea blends, healing salves, herbal oils, tinctures, vinegars, herbal salts, herbal syrups or cordials. Each box will be accompanied by a newsletter with information on how to use each product as well as brief stories to acquaint you with the history and use of the individual herbs. This offering is ideal for individuals or families who are interested in learning more about medicinal herbs and wish to develop a deeper relationship with the many wild and cultivated plants growing in our unique environment. Kayla will offer guidance as you are introduced to new herbs and feel comfortable incorporating the healing powers of medicinal plants in your daily life. You will gain the confidence to safely work with herbal remedies and naturally heal yourself and your family. Share members will receive 15% off all classes and workshops offered by Kayla for the remainder of the year.
