Join Kayla Barthelme for a walk around the farm property in search of wild and cultivated medicinal and edible plants!

Keep your eyes low to the ground as you deepen your relationship with commonly overlooked plants. Learn how to identify and incorporate wild medicinals into your salads, herbal tea collection, and first aid kit.

We’ll discuss key plant characteristics, harvesting guidelines, and practical uses for wild medicinals. This class is ideal for nature enthusiasts, herbalists, and anyone curious about the gifts of the natural world — making it beginner-friendly!

We'll discuss a variety of common and safe medicinals that you can grow in your own garden or easily purchase. As well as understand their herbal actions and learn when to utilize them effectively.

Participants will forage, eat, and enjoy a fresh salad during class! A detailed handout covering topics discussed in class will also be given to participants at the classes end.
